Howdy! My name is Piper. I am a home chef based out of San Francisco, California that works primarily in private dinners & meal prep.
I have been taking cooking on a more serious note for about 4 years now. I've mostly cooked for smaller parties including family, friends, & mutual clients within this time. Cooking is definitely a love language; as the exchange of food was heavily influenced within my Filipina heritage & upbringing. Expressing this cultural tradition makes cooking more significant to me as a home cook all the while fortifying my sentiment to the practice.
Managing to finish college & goals to cook as a profession keep me grounded & ambitious. I currently cook out of my small apartment with my boyfriend which I like to refer to as my co-founder / sous chef. He was the one who pushed me to start my cooking services from the beginning as well as assisting me in my cooking endeavors. Working in a small space definitely adjusted my ways of working; in utilizing what I have & still prepare the best meals I can rustle up for myself & for others. Gratitude fills me at the opportunities I have been able to participate in and execute thus far.
The kitchen has been a space that I have grown up in & its communal aspect is something I value. My plan is to use this platform in order to share my cooking journey, showcase fun events I've thrown, & offer services to those that come across my path as these are a few things that brings me great joy.
